Find your Vitamin A

Vitamin A is the unequivocal gold standard for anti-ageing concerns.

Retinol; the classic vitamin A.   Medik8 ‘intelligent retinols’ contain the wonder ingredient Climbazole. This mimics a higher % of active retinol with no further sensitivity.  Each drop to the last is as potent as the first.   All these intelligent retinols – 0.3% up to 1% have a nourishing squalane base to moisturise the skin.   Anyone wanting to try retinol for the first time should start here.  

Retinaldehyde; Retinal for short is a completely different vitamin A molecule to retinol.   This vitamin A is proven to be 11 x faster acting than retinol.  Sometimes though faster means more unstable (ie a lot of irritation on the skin or doesn’t last long in the bottle) Medik8 have managed encapsulate retinal into a ‘crystal’ capsule that breaks down on contact with the skin, slowly feeding the skin with retinal.  This is the closest ingredient to prescription strength retinoic acid (the biologically active form on the skin).   Available in 5 strengths (!) starting at Crystal Retinal 1 for sensitive skins up to Crystal Retinal 20.  This is a beautiful cream based vitamin A.

Retinyl retinoate; the ultimate Vitamin A.  r-Retinoate is non irritating and can be used day and night.  There is nothing else like this vitamin A choice.  A fusion of retinol with biologically active retinoic acid means superior vitamin A results but completely suitable for sensitive skin and can be used both day and night.   ONLY Medki8 have been able to perfect this product.
